Some Tips on How to Avoid BPA

How to have less BPA exposure-

Avoid heat!  Don’t wash plastics in the dishwasher or microwave food in plastic containers

Don’t wash plastics in strong detergents (they break down the plastic thus releasing more BPA)

Avoid canned foods as much as possible- some preserved foods are available in jars

Eat fresh foods instead of canned or packaged foods whenever possible

Use glass or metal containers for lunch boxes and food storage

Store drinking water in glass or metal containers, not plastic

Wash your hands after handling receipt tape
